RN Rouse of Cary Tapped for New Biogen Building
From staff reports.
Cary, North Carolina – Biogen is adding a new 180,000 square foot office on its RTP campus. And RN Rouse of Cary is building it.
Biogen’s “Front Door”
The new building—known as Bio26 and designed to meet LEED building standards—is being constructed in response to increased demand for use of Biogen Idec’s bulk biologics manufacturing capacity.
Bio26 will serve as Biogen Idec’s “front door” on its 178 acre campus and will feature an office wing and an amenities wing. The office wing is designed to be 5 stories.
Construction is scheduled to begin this month with occupancy planned for the third quarter of 2012.
