Tech Task Force – Cary’s First Online Meeting

Cary, NC – The Town of Cary’s Tech Task Force (TTF) is scheduled to meet this Wednesday. In a first for Cary, the commission meeting will be streamed online.

TTF Online Event

Cary already streams Town Council meetings. But Wednesday’s TTF event will be the first time the town has tried to hold a meeting online for a board or commission.

How to Participate Online

The public is invited to attend the meeting at Town Hall, or can join in electronically. Town staff, who have set up the particulars for this event, issued the following instructions for electronic participation:

    Hey Hal — it was good — overall, high marks.
    I think for larger meetings, it might be better to use the “event” mode — just a different mode of operation (note: in event mode, the host can tell if the user is paying attention or not, actually reports if webex has the active focus or not).

    With some more usage and developing good meeting discipline for webex meetings, it will prove very useful.

    Might be work looking at the event mode of operation.

    Any idea when/where the recording will be?
