Dance-a-thon for March of Dimes

Cary, NC – So you think you can dance? How about dance to raise money for the March of Dimes? The Cary Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. will present Dancing for Dimes Danceathon here in Cary at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Cary, 1263 Kildaire Farm Road (in Saltbox Village) on April 20.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc, a worldwide organization of over 85,000, has their headquarters here in Cary. The non-profit is hosting the Dance-A -Thon with a goal to raise $1,922 to help the March of Dimes with their mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, infant mortality and premature birth.

There will be an eclectic selection of music during this 90 minute dance-a-thon, plus door prizes, trophies, free food and a live DJ. General admission is $5 for spectators.  Dance-a-thon participants are asked to make a minimum donation of $25.
