Theater: Annie Get Your Gun
Cary, NC – Panther Creek High School performs their version of the musical favorite Annie Get Your Gun this weekend. The play opens Thursday night at 7pm at the school, with additional performances Friday and Saturday.
An amazingly talented and dedicated group of Panther Creek students led by drama teacher and director is Bing Cox has been rehearsing every day after school for the past couple of months to get this show ready.
Panther Creek is quickly becoming known for a high level of theater talent: Kennedy Crawford, a junior, is playing the lead role of Annie. Two seniors are going on to college to pursue careers in the theatre arts, and earn their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees. Brooke Benson, playing Dolly Tate, will be attending East Carolina University and has been accepted into their Honors program for professional acting. Aaron Miller, playing Frank Butler, will be studying musical theatre at Rider University in New York.
Catch these graduating seniors before the play closes: Mikey Sciacca, Joshua Knutson, Hannah Macie, Jennifer Mudd, Kelli Johnson, Tyler Martin, Mary Poulton, and Noah Tadeo.
