Cary Weekend Events – June 27-29
Cary, NC – As usual, there are dozens of Cary weekend events on the Calendar, including a Town Council meeting, yoga at the library and Movies by Moonlight. There’s also the NC Symphony and the Carolina Railhawks, the #1 team in the NASL. All in Cary this weekend.

Town Council Meeting – 6:30 PM, Town Hall. The big item on the agenda is the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2014 Budget.
Fine Arts League – 7:30 PM, Cary Arts Center. The Fine Arts League of Cary nurtures and promotes Cary area artists and those interested in the arts.

Yoga at the Library – 11 AM, West Regional Library. Did you know the library had yoga? There it is, right on the Calendar of Cary weekend events.
Movies by Moonlight – Perfect Pitch, 7 PM, Booth Amphitheatre in Cary. $3 adults, kids under 12 are free. More information on the Calendar.

Cary Farmer’s Markets – Saturday mornings at Waverly, Downtown and Western Wake. True summer fruits and vegetables will be bursting from the bins. Look for blackberries, beans, cucumbers, peaches, bell peppers, summer squash, sweet corn and watermelon. It has been a good year for the sweet corn, with enough rain. Take some corn home and Roast it on the Grill.
RailHawks Pig Pickin’ – The fun starts at 4 PM with a pig pickin’, band and beer at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary. At 7 PM, the RailHawks take on the Atlanta Silverbacks. The ‘Hawks are #1 in the NASL. The Silverbacks are #2. After the game, stay to celebrate with some fireworks.
NC Symphony – Holst’s The Planets, 7:30 PM at Koka Booth Amphitheatre.
