Earth Fare Coming to Park West
Morrisville, NC — The Grocery wars continue in the Triangle with the announcement that Earth Fare is coming to Park West Village in Morrisville. Park West Village in Morrisville continues to add new tenants. The latest openings are Charming Charlie and Ulta, White House Black Market, Chico’s, and Soma this Spring. Next up is Pier 1 and the new supermarket.
The grocer landscape is getting more interesting with the addition of Publix at Davis and High House coming in late 2014-early 2015, and the expansion of Whole Foods market this year at Waverly. Residents will have plenty of new places to shop for food besides mainstays Harris Teeter, Food Lion and Lowes. The EarthFare location within the center will be at the corner of Morrisville Parkway and Chapel Hill Road.
Earth Fare’s only other Triangle location opened in 2005 in Brier Creek and that was 8 years ago.
With 25,000 sqft, the store will be about half the size of the average Harris Teeter. The store typically carries bulk items like grains and beans that patrons can scoop into bags and buy in quantities that they choose. A large prepared foods section, produce, meats, fish poultry and baked goods. A loyalty program gives dollars back for purchasing promoted items and bringing your own bags. They also have a restaurant where patrons can dine in or take out.
Earth Fare prides itself on not selling any “products containing high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, artificial colors and sweeteners, and synthetic growth hormones in fresh meat and dairy.” They read the labels so you don’t have to.
Projections have the grocer opening in 2015, with no firm date set as of this writing.
How do I make application to your store? I am presently working for Publix as an event planner (part time).
