A new spot for brunch, a boutique, CineBistro and more are all open in Cary.

Restaurants

The Egg & I, 1104 Ledsome Lane, Cary
The Egg & I just opened on August 31, 2015 on Walnut Street near US-1. The restaurant features breakfast and lunch options in a “home-like environment.” The menu lists Benedicts, specialty omelettes, sweet indulgences, entree salads, soups, sandwiches and more.

Childcare

Children’s Lighthouse Learning Center, 7420 McCrimmon Parkway, Cary
Owner Raja Davidarulappan is a local resident who left his long-term telecommunications career to launch an early-childhood education center in the community with a family-oriented approach. The Children’s Lighthouse Learning Center opened on August 31, 2015 in West Cary.

The center accepts children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old and has security-controlled building access, internet video monitoring for parents, age-appropriate playgrounds and more.

Nail Salon

Embassy Nails, 1229 Parkside Main Street, Cary
Embassy Nails, a new nail salon, just opened in Parkside Town Commons last week.

Entertainment

CineBistro, Waverly Place (corner of Tryon and Kildaire), Cary
CineBistro officially opened on September 4, 2015. There, guests can enjoy a fine dining experience while sitting in huge, soft chairs and watching a movie of their choice.

Dance

Campaneria Ballet School, 1241 NW Maynard Road, Cary
This new ballet school features caring faculty to instruct students in their pursuit of the benefits of dance training including professional career guidance and preparation, positive recreational activity, maximized health, wellness and endurance, self expression and confidence. CBS provides customized instruction from ages 3-adult including ballet technique, variations, men’s class, modern/jazz and more. Classes start on September 9, 2015.

Boutique

Halie’s Boutique, 1207 Parkside Main Street, Cary
Halie’s opened today, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Parkside Town Commons. To celebrate opening week, the store will host special sales and events all week – check the “grand openings” section below for more information.

Grand Openings This Week

It’s a big week for fashion at Parkside Town Commons.

Halie’s Boutique is celebrating their Tuesday opening all week with deals and events:

  • Wednesday, September 9 – wine and cheese from 6-8 pm and 10% off total purchase
  • Thursday, September 10 – tea and cookies from 1-3 pm and 20% off one item
  • Friday, September 11 – ribbon cutting at 4 pm; happy hour from 4-7 pm
  • Saturday, September 12 – butterfly release, mimosas and pastries at 11 am

Pink Magnolia Boutique at Parkside Town Commons will celebrate a grand opening on Saturday, September 12, 2015. The celebration begins with a ribbon cutting and mimosa celebration at 10 am, and then customers can enjoy food and beverages throughout the day while they shop. Owner Samantha James told me that there will be sweet treats and bubbly at 1 pm, happy hour and appetizers at 5 pm and raffle drawings at 8 pm.

Everyone that stops by will receive a gift and a chance to win $100 gift card. With a purchase, they’ll be entered to win a pair cowgirl boots.
