Cary Children’s Choir Auditions – August 30

Cary, NC – The Cary Children’s Concert Choir (C4) and Cary Youth Chorale are holding their fall semester auditions on August 30, 2011.

The Choir is open to children from grades 3-6. The Chorale is for students in grades 7-9. No prior singing experience is necessary.

Acccording to C4 program manager Joy Ennis, each child will be asked to sing a simple song in several musical keys, and do some basic rhythm work. The audition is structured so that the artistic staff will get an idea of the child’s level of experience and ability to sing as a part of the group.

This is the twelfth year for the Cary Children’s Concert Choir and the third year for the Cary Youth Chorale.

Both groups have multiple performances scheduled for the fall including a memorial on 9/11.
