Cary, NC- With Easter right around the corner and special events on the horizon, there is no better time of year than now to buy a dress, and with good reason.  Whether they are simple and elegant or festive and glamorous, you only have one piece to worry about.  There’s no matching, no coordinating, just finding one thing that works is all it takes.

Find The Dress For You

Yet finding a dress that truly fits your body can be tricky.  If you’re a different size on top than you are on bottom then an alterations specialist is going to be your secret weapon in helping you get the right fit for your body type.  Fit is key and buying the best fitting dress will ensure you look and feel your best whatever the occasion.

Spring is Bursting with Color

Trends for spring dresses have never been more colorful than they are this season!  Color abounds and is available in many combinations, but before you choose be sure the colors are right for you.  Knowing what colors enhance your hair, eyes and skintone can help you move away from the little black dress and towards something that will help you stand out for all the right reasons.

Color Blocking Hot Again

Color blocking is one of the season’s hottest trends and has never looked better!  Whether you favor a Mondrian-inspired style or simply want to boost your sherbet-hued shift dress with a belt and accessories, think outside the box when it comes to color combinations.  One of the best ways to keep your look fresh is to pair colors in new ways – a hot pink dress with a turquoise belt, or a cobalt cardigan over a teal green sheath will look on-trend without being overdone.  Keep your combination to no more than 3 colors for best effect.

Spot On

Polka dots are another hot trend this season that look great in a dress.  Try the traditional look of black and white or navy and white or venture into a brand new color such as lavender, green or pink.  A bright belt in a contrasting solid makes the perfect accent!

Ready For Orange?

By now you’ve heard that orange is the hot hue of the year, yet it’s not for everyone.  If orange is not your best shade, ask yourself if there’s a version of it that could work for you such as melon, poppy or peach.  If it’s not your best hue, opt for something in another bold bright and see how gorgeous you’ll look!

No matter what your style, you’re bound to find a dress that expresses it this season.  Wear one that makes you feel more like you and watch the magic happen.  Happy Easter!
