Morrisville, NC – Park West Village’s latest tenant, Another Broken Egg Cafe, brings Lousiana-style breakfast offered all day to the Triangle.
Another Broken Egg Cafe
The restaurant held their official Morrisville Chamber ribbon cutting on Friday July 13 and opened their doors for Chamber members with a complimentary breakfast. Carlotta Ungaro, Morrisville Chamber of Commerce president welcomed everyone and then Liz Johnson, Mayor Pro-tem spoke with pride about the diversity of restaurant and dining options now offered in Morrisville.
Another Broken Egg is based in the Southeast, having started in Louisiana. The menu reflects a New Orleans flair.
Look for crawfish and andouille sausage in omelettes and my new favorite, Beignets (special fried doughnut holes sprinkled with powdered sugar served with marmalade for dipping).
Partnering with Morrisville Community Fund
The team is eager to become a meaningful member of the community and partnered with the Morrisville Community Fund. Patrons could donate on the spot to this local organization that started when former Morrisville Mayor Jan Faulkner (who was also at the event) an community members wanted to have a foundation that could give local grants. Liz Johnson (also a member) stated that already the group has given out 3 – $500 grants to local non- profits in Morrisville.
The restaurant had a “soft opening” on Thursday, July 12, in which the manager, Jen said the staff worked out the kinks. There is still a “now hiring” sign posted; inquire within if you are interested.
