Cary, NC – This Saturday, September 29, 2012, is the 5th Annual Panther Creek Invitational (PCI) Marching Band Competition. It is spectacle-size entertainment and everyone is invited.
Panther Creek Marching Band Invitational
18 high school marching bands from around the Triangle and across the state – 1500 marching band students in all – will compete for the coveted PCI trophies.
After dark, you’ll see the biggest crowds (more than 1,000 people jammed into the football stadium) and the largest bands (some more than 170 students).
Pepsi Challenge Award Presentation – $25,000
At approximately 9:30 pm, Pepsi will present a check for $25,000 to Panther Creek band director David Robinson for the school’s first-place win last December in the national Pepsi Refresh contest. PCHS garnered the most online votes in the $25,000 category for non-profit community organizations.
