Disc Golf Tournament Comes to Cary

From Town of Cary:

The Town of Cary, Raleigh Area Disc League (RADL) and Cary Area Disc League (CADL) are teaming together to put on a disc golf tournament in Downtown Cary.  This unique, temporary course plays around the buildings and structures on Town Hall Campus, located in the heart of downtown Cary.  Holes play in, through, and off a parking deck, as well as around the community center and police station.  This is not your ordinary disc golf course!

Participation is limited and registration is open to amateurs and professionals. Entry fees are $35 and $55 respectively.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Town’s Relief for Recreation Scholarship Fund.

Seems a bit pricey for an event where only $5 goes to charity!
I hope there will be more events like it that encourage kids and families to come out to play with a more reasonable price tag in the future!
