Southern TriEx to Open Early
Cary, NC – The southernmost portion of the Triangle Expressway is set to open on Thursday, December 20, 2012. That’s 13 days ahead of schedule.
Southern TriEx to Open Early
The southern branch of the Triangle Expressway, also called Phase III, connects US 64 in Apex to NC 55 in Holly Springs. The new stretch of road is approximately 6 miles long.
The Triangle Expressway is NC’s first modern toll road. Tolls are collected electronically. For more info on toll collection, visit NCDOT.gov.
Ride for Free Until Jan 2
You can ride on the new section of road for free until January 2, 2013.
Toll collection is already up and running for the rest of Triangle Expressway.
