RailHawks Host Job Fair on Feb 12

Cary, NC – On Tuesday, February 12, 2013, the Carolina RailHawks and Backyard Bistro will be hosting the 2013 RailHawks Job Fair from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.

RailHawks Job Fair

The RailHawks and Backyard Bistro are seeking individuals to fill various positions in their game day production.  The RailHawks are also looking to fill positions for their Summer Internship Program.

“We are looking for individuals to help grow the RailHawks and be a part of our game day team,” said RailHawks President Curt Johnson.  “Each one of these individuals is important in making all of our events successful and giving the patrons of the New WakeMed Soccer Park the best experience possible.  We look forward to adding to the RailHawks Family.”

Carolina RailHawks and Backyard Bistro staff will be on hand at the Job Fair to discuss all available positions and give tours of the stadium.  Positions looking to be filled include:

  • Box Office Representatives
  • Ticket Distribution Representatives
  • Gate and Ticket Managers
  • Hospitality Ushers
  • Section Ushers
  • Concession Chefs
  • Bartenders
  • Lead Cashiers
  • Wait Staff

RailHawks Summer Interns

The RailHawks are currently accepting resumes for energetic, soccer passionate individuals to join their 2013 Summer Internship Program.  Summer Internships are available in the following areas:

  • Fan Development and Sales
  • Marketing and Community Outreach
  • Graphic Design
  • Corporate Partnerships
  • Operations

MLS Back in Town

On February 24, the RailHawks will host MLS Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the 5th Annual Hilton Garden Inn Community Shield Match.

And, the RailHawks will open the New WakeMed Soccer Park with a Grand Opening on Saturday, April 13 as the RailHawks host league foe FC Edmonton.

Giving Back

In November 2012, the Carolina RailHawks announced that it will donate 10% of its total ticket revenue for each of the 2013-2015 seasons back to the Triangle community.  The RailHawks donation will focus on supporting soccer-related programs that will help to further build and strengthen soccer in our area.
