Cary, NC – The Cary Women’s Giving Network will host a lunch on February 21, 2013 at The Matthews House and several very worthy non-profits will receive a grant. The network is giving back $15,000 worth of grants at this event.
Grant Awards Luncheon
The Cary Women’s Giving Network, a women’s collective giving circle, is hosting its first annual grants awards luncheon Thursday, February 21, at 11:30 at The Matthews House in Cary.
The event celebrates three local grantees who are receiving grants awards from the circle: CORRAL Riding Academy, The Carying Place, and Dorcas Ministries. The Network membership voted last month to award the grants after a competitive grant application process.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are available for $25 by contacting The Matthews House at 919-467-1944. Tickets must be purchased by February 18.
“We’re very excited to support these three non-profits that are serving the people of Cary,” remarked Sarah Perkins, Cary Women’s Giving Network Grants Committee Chair. “Our membership is eager to use their collective giving power to make a difference in the lives of people in need. These three non-profits are our first recipients, and we look forward to adding to the number of grantees in the coming years.”
