Fifth of Blues – If you’re a fan of the blues, you’ll enjoy this iconic Triangle band at Rallypoint, longtime supporter of the blues in Cary. Weather permitting, out on the giant patio. No cover.
Movies by Moonlight: Wreck it Ralph – Booth Amphitheatre, Cary. Gates open at 7 PM, movie starts at dusk. $3 per grown up, kids under 12 free.
Saturday – Robert Plant in Cary
Wags 4 Tags – Doherty’s Irish Pub & Restaurant is hosting and sponsoring this outdoor event to raise money for a great cause. It’s the first annual benefit for raising money for Wags4Tags, a local organization that unites emotionally injured veterans across North Carolina with trained rescue dogs so the two can heal in unconditional love, trust and loyalty. Dogtopia 2013 Charity Dog Wash – In a similar vein to Wags 4 Tags, Dogtopia of Cary is organizing the event to benefit Veterans Moving Forward. Veterans Moving Forward’s mission is to “provide service dogs to veterans with physical and mental health challenges.” Cost: $10 minimum donation, (bath only, no nail trims. blow drys, etc. due to time constraints).
