Much Ado About Nothing

Cary High School Performing Arts Department presents William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” October 10th thru October 12th.

Ticket reservations can be made by calling the box office @ 919-462-6816 or purchased at the door each night. Tickets are $5 for Students and $8 for Adults. All Shows will be in the Cary High School Auditorium (Cary High School, 638 Walnut Street, Cary, NC 27511).

Gibson Brothers at Cary Arts

The Gibson Brothers, winners of the 2012 International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year award, will be at Cary Arts Center of Friday night as part of the Marvelous Music Series.

Cary Playwrights’ Forum

Cary Playwrights’ Forum will hold their October Staged Reading – “Close Encounters: Tales of Space, Ghosts & Blood!” at 7:30 pm on Friday, October 11th and Saturday, October 12th in the Paul Cooper Room at the Cary Arts Center. More info on the Calendar.

Handmade Holiday Craft Fair

Cary Creative Reuse Center, 155 Wilkenson Ave, Cary 27513, 9 AM to 4 PM. 20 craft vendors, all local artists, who specialize in creative reuse and upcycling.

Live demos: candle re-use, Paper-making/ marbelizing, sad rags to glad rags.

Health Fair

Preston Medical Associates of Cary will hold it’s 10th annual health fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at . The event includes several area health specialists, flu shots for a fee, and a mobile mammography unit. Come enjoy our fun packed free family event.

Cooking Class – Heart Healthy Vegetarian Dinner

Our new friends at Whisk have started to roll out their cooking classes. This weekend, take a class in cooking a heart-healthy vegetarian dinner. Mung bean and kale soup, Nutty lemony quinoa and shaved brussel sprouts and pine nuts, Granny smith apple calfoutis. More info: Whisk.
