SK8 Park – Free this Weekend

Cary, NC — As many of you may already know, SK8 Park in Cary has been closed for a couple of weeks due to a water main break. But what you may not know is that this weekend, it’s open for a few days and the fees are waived.

Free Weekend at SK8 Park

From Town of Cary:

While crews take a short break from repairing recent storm damage to the office and pro shop, the Town of Cary will be able to temporarily open SK8-Cary with free skate/bike sessions all weekend and early next week during Wake County Public School System’s holidays.

From January 18-21, SK8-Cary will open from noon-10 p.m. daily and adhere to its regularly scheduled sessions. Concessions will be available; however, due to damage incurred by last week’s water line break, staff will be unable to accept future program registrations, hold private lessons, or schedule future private lessons.

Sk8-Cary is anticipated to return to its full operating schedule by the end of February.
