Breakfast with the Bunny

The Cary Teen Council sponsors Breakfast with the Bunny prior to Cary’s Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny is available for pictures/videos for ticket holders. Pre-sale tickets are required – there will be no tickets sold at the door. For more information call (919) 460-4965.
Fees: Tickets required and can be purchased at the Herb Young Community Center in Downtown Cary
- Ages 10 & up: $4 each
- Youth ages 3-9: $3 each
- Under 2, Free (pick up an “EAT FREE PASS” when you purchase your tickets)
In case of inclement weather, ticket holders will be asked to call the community center for an updated message.

Town of Cary’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt
April 12, 10:00am – 3:00pm, – follows the breakfast above
This free event gets going at 10:00 am with different areas and times for various ages. In recent years the event has become so popular, that the town holds a morning session and an afternoon session.
Children 10 years of age and under are invited to the Town of Cary’s 23rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt. This FREE event features 3 hunt areas, each for a different age group. After your hunt, join Flow Circus in the Sertoma Amphitheatre for a magic show. Bring your own basket and come early for good parking! For more, call (919) 469-4100.

Spring Fling in ParkWest
Park West Village in front of the Stone Movie Theater
April 12, 2:00- 8:00
Park West Village kicks off their Spring music series with a free event called Spring Fling in the area they are calling “The District”. Bounce housees, face painting, live music , a scavenger hunt, giveaways and more are planned to keep the whole family having a good time in their outdoor courtyard area. After this weekend, music will play from 6:00-8:30 on Thursdays til May 15.
Egg Hunt Spectacular

This FREE event is for adults aged 55 and up only and requires advance registration through the Town of Cary’s Parks & Rec website.

YMCA Egg Hunt

A fun filled egg hunt for YMCA Members, on the grounds of the Cary YMCA. First Hunt begins at 6pm sharp! Don’t forget baskets and cameras!
Come early early (15 minutes before your child’s hunt)
- 6:00 2 year olds and younger (little playground)
- 6:30 3-4 year olds (little playground)
- 6:45 5-6 year olds (big playground)
- 7:00 7-10 year olds (sand volleyball court)
There will be fun activities for the kids including facepainting, tatoos,a yummy snack and a visit frm a special guest! Free but registration required register before noon April 18 at the welcome center desk

Easter Egg Hunt in the Market-The Easter Bunny is making a trip to market and has hidden some eggs. Bring your basket and come out and find some eggs filled with goodies while you shop for fresh, local goodies!
There’s live music this week provided by the Celtic Mariners, a traditional band that plays music of Cape Breton, Ireland, Scotland, and other Celtic regions. The band members are: Alison Arnold (wooden flute, tin whistle), Trish Hornick (fiddle), Julie Gorka (Celtic harp, piano/keyboard), and Gordon Arnold (cello, cittern).

Waverly Place Market Opening Spring Fling

A fashion show, face painting, a bonnet decorating contest and more are planned for the opening day of this south Cary Farmer’s market.
A group of talented musicians from around the Triangle will host an ‘’open jam’’ to accompany your shopping, showcasing artists who are scheduled to perform throughout the season. Whole Foods will be serving breakfast burritos and other healthy options for lunch. Starting around 11AM, a Spring Fashion show will hit the runway to feature apparel and accessories from GreenPea Baby & Child, Gigi’s and Finley’s Boutique, and Waverly’s newest addition – Violets. Back for the 2nd year, the Spring Bonnet and Hat Festival will follow. Make or wear a decorated hat with Easter or Spring goodies, and enter the contest to win prizes from Waverly. Best bonnet per age category wins, and judging will take place after the fashion show.
