Bootcamp Raises Funds for Veterans

Bootcamp

Cary, NC — Prestonwood Country Club is hosting a silent auction and outdoor boot camp on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 to raise awareness and funds for Operation: Coming Home.

Operation: Coming Home

All proceeds will benefit the local charity, which is a joint volunteer project by the Triangle Veterans Association, the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County (HBA), and the Royal Oaks Building Group that builds homes for military personnel who have sacrificed greatly for their country. The event is open to the public.

Prestonwood Fitness Specialist & Event Coordinator Tia Casady explains:

I wanted to create a way for community members to come together to honor and remember our veterans by not only experiencing similar conditioning the soldiers go through to prepare for battle, but also to raise money for an amazing charity that helps our wounded heroes.
