Herbfest 2015: Coming to Cary May 2
Cary, NC — Mark your calendars now for Cary’s annual Herbfest on Saturday, May 2, 2015.
Herbfest 2015
Herbfest remains one of our favorite Cary events. This will be its sixth consecutive year.
All morning and afternoon Saturday, May 2, 2015, stroll the grounds and gardens of the Page-Walker hotel to buy herbs and plants, visit craft booths, tour the gardens, participate in a silent auction, have lunch and utilize the many activities available for kids.
There will be two butterfly releases at 11:30 am and at 2:30 pm. Admission to Herbfest is always free, and the event will go on rain or shine.
Something New Every Year
Past Herbfests have seen folk concerts, a “meet the animals” program, crafts from the Cary Creative Center, talks and book signings by gardening experts and more. Herbfest vendors change each year, so there’s always something new.
Pat Fish, Herbfest event planner, told us what guests can expect from vendors this year:
The garden will be filled with a wonderful variety of vendors selling herbs, plants, olive oils and balsamic vinegars in addition to craft products including fused & stained glass, pottery, copper art and others. Wake County Master Gardener Volunteers will be available to answer your gardening questions.

Does Paige Walker allow dogs on the grounds? If so I would love to give my pup a stretch of the legs as we live nearby. But if not I will leave her at home :)
The sixth annual Herbfest should be a great community event. All of us at the Friends of the Page-Walker (and especially the “Butterfly Lady”) look forward to seeing all of you there!
