Cary Family Dental Offers Free Services This Weekend
Cary, NC — This Saturday, April 18, 2015, as part of their 4th annual Dentistry from the Heart event, Cary Family Dental will offer free dental services from their Kildaire Farm Road office.

Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing free dental care to those who need it. Each year, dentists and practices from across the country donate their time and resources to host their own DFTH events.

Cary’s own Cary Family Dental joined this cause four years ago. Since then, Dr. Allan Acton and the rest of the team have provided free dental services to more than 500 adults. This weekend, they will continue the tradition by hosting their fourth Dentistry From The Heart event.
Ten dentists, along with a handful of hygienists, dental assistants and volunteers will donate their time to provide adults over the age of 18 with their choice of a free extraction, filling or cleaning.
An All-Day Event
Those interested should arrive early, since the event will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Since patients will wait outside, they are also encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and to bring chairs, water and snacks.
Free t-shirts and toothbrushes will be distributed to the first 200 patients in line. Music and refreshments will also be provided. The first 100 patients are guaranteed to be seen. Event registration will begin at 7 am, and patients will be seen through 5 pm.
Dr. Acton explains that:
For the most part, the Affordable Care Act does not include dental care, so there are still tens of thousands of adults in our area who lack dental insurance.
Through this annual Dentistry From The Heart event, we are able to give back to the community and serve those in need.
