Live at Lunch

Live at Lunch Starts May 7 in Downtown Cary

Live at Lunch

Cary, NC — Enjoy a picnic and outdoor concert during your lunch hour at Live at Lunch, Cary’s new, free concert series. Shows start on May 7, 2015 and continue every Thursday in May.

Live at Lunch Concert Series

Each concert will take place on the Fidelity Bank Plaza from 11:30 am-1:30 pm. A small stage will be set up for performers, and picnic tables will be placed outside for public use.

Attendees are encouraged to pack their lunch or to stop by a downtown restaurant and get lunch to-go and bring it to the plaza to enjoy live, local music.

We talked to Sarah Hagan, Cary’s Program Specialist, to find out more. She told us that:

We hope these concerts will not only encourage attendees to pick up lunch to go from a downtown restaurant, but also explore our other great downtown businesses during the lunch time hour. This is a great opportunity for folks to get outside, recharge and mingle with their downtown neighbors and colleagues.

Performance Line-Up

There will be a different show each week from a local artist. Live at Lunch performers include:

  • Jacob Lutz, a 20-year old singer/songwriter and music teacher from Clayton
  • Hank Smith, a South Carolinian banjo player, bluegrass performer and music teacher
  • Erin Mason, a young Raleigh native and county/folk-pop artist and songwriter
  • Peter Lamb & Mark Wells Duo, a talented jazz saxophonist and a pianist/vocalist
