Photos from Cary Night Out
Cary, NC — On Sunday, May 3, 2015, the streets of Downtown Cary were blocked off for Cary Night Out–a family-friendly festival that celebrates our town’s status as one of the safest places to live in the country. Photographer Kurt Hilton shared some photos with us.
Rescheduled for Rain
Though it was originally scheduled for Saturday evening, Cary Night Out was moved to Sunday afternoon due to a call for chilly and rainy weather. Sunny skies, warm temperatures and a great turn-out of families proved that the move to Sunday was not a mistake.
At Cary Night Out, citizens had a chance to meet some of our town’s fire, police and emergency personnel. There were free hot dogs, K9 demonstrations and fun zones for kids. Adults could learn about safety initiatives and sign-up for a free home safety inspection.
