Cary, NC — Bright Horizons hosted their annual Truck Day on Saturday, November 14, 2015, and Brooke Meyer got some great shots of all the smiles.
Truck Day in Cary
Truck Day is an annual event held at Bright Horizons on Weston Parkway in Cary. Now in its fourth year, the event is always a success – because who doesn’t love trucks?
The festivities this year were bigger than ever before – food trucks and activities were available for truck explorers and their families, not to mention a large collection of bulldozers and construction trucks, police and fire vehicles, motorcycles and more.
Kids can meet safety officials and climb up in the trucks, which is always a hit. The cornerstone of this event, though, is its charitable component. The small donations families give to attend Truck Day go to The Bright Horizons Foundation, which helps families in crisis and supports similar nonprofits that hold programs for children and their families.
