Guitar Center Opened in Cary
Cary, NC – It had locations around the Triangle but now Guitar Center is opening its first store in Cary.
New Music Store
Guitar Center officially opened its doors Thursday, July 14, 2016 on O’Kelly Chapel Rd. It is a 10,000 square foot store and in addition to selling music equipment offers lessons, equipment repair and rentals.
“We feel that the new location in Cary is ideally located to serve our overall customer base and complement the already rich atmosphere of musicianship in the area,” said store manager Chris Weldon. “We’re excited about the opportunity to create a more immersive in-store experience and expand musician services offerings for our customers.”
This Guitar Center is relocated from the previous Durham store and plans to bring over most of its employees.
“Guitar Center is creating an updated and more efficient layout that is more hands-on and that gives us the ability to expand Guitar Center services for local musicians, which will ultimately create a better customer experience overall,” Weldon said.
While the Cary Guitar Center is bringing over many of its Durham employees, they will be hiring in the coming weeks for new, expanded positions as well.
The new Cary Guitar Center is located on 7123 O’Kelly Chapel Rd.
