The Cary Town Band is presenting a free outdoor concert that celebrates the full moon, which will be rising as the music is played. Musical selections explore all the weird and wonderful things that are said to happen when there’s a full moon.

3rd Annual Dragon Boat Festival

Over 8,000 people attended the Dragon Boat Festival last year. Watch dragon boat racing from club and community teams, experience various food and performances, and have a fun cultural experience. Indian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino and Thai food will all be available for purchase.

Some highlights from the entertainment schedule are the Chinese Instrument Symphony Orchestra of North Carolina, International Ballet Academy, Master Chang’s Master Arts, WuMa Dance Club and much more. This is a free event, but parking is $5.

Live at Lunch

Thursday, September 22, 11:30 PM to 1:30 PM

As the weather cools off, Live at Lunch returns, offering live music to enjoy during your lunch break. The concert this week features Jimmy Weaver, who performs Top 40 and Beach Music. The series continues every Thursday through October 13 and the music is varied, including jazz, beach music, pop, country, and classic and alternative rock.
