Coming Films to the Cary Theater – November

Cary, NC – In between the horror movies of October and the bright family movies of December, the Cary Theater will be screening many solid dramas and comedies throughout November.

Sick Chicks Film Festival

Starting off the month, on Saturday, November 5, 2016, the Cary Theater will be screening the Sick Chick Flicks Film Festival. This festival brings together dozens of female directors will numerous short films that focus on horror, science fiction and suspense and will air from 11 AM to 11 PM, with an hour dinner break in the middle at an awards ceremony at 10:30 AM. Some of the shorts’ directors will also be in attendance and will be taking questions from the audience.

Gone But Not Forgotten Series

Running on Sundays in November, the Cary Theater will be screening films featuring actors and directors who recently died.

The Cary Central and Cary-Kildaire Rotary Clubs are holding a fundraiser for the Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 7 PM.

On Saturday, November 16, 2016, the Cary Theater will be holding Rough Cuts Review, a monthly event where local filmmakers screen unfinished parts of their films for community feedback.
