Our Updated Downtown Dining Google Map
Story originally appeared on FoodCary.
Cary, NC – We’ve just updated our Downtown Dining Google Map and have included some new features including a Parking layer.
New Places to Eat & Drink Downtown
When we started our Downtown Dining Google Map about five years ago, there were 16 places to eat (or drink) in Downtown Cary. Today, that number stands at 29.
We love custom Google Maps. You should also check out our Cary Supermarkets Map.
Recent additions to the Dining map include Bottle Dog Brews and Bites (Chapel Hill Road), Annelore’s German Bakery (West Chatham Street) and Jordan Lake Brewery (East Durham Street).
There is a cluster of new food and drink places at the new/renovated Midtown Plaza (East Chatham Street) including Pro’s Epicurean, SideBar and Pizzeria Faulisi. Around the corner on East Cedar Street you’ll find Postmaster.

Almost all of the business’ info comes up when the marker is clicked, but for some reason not for Chatham Street Wine Market.
‘Serendipity’ on S. Academy has a great corned beef Reuben sandwich if you need to grab a bite before a Town Council meeting.
Inaccurate, missing restaurants. Lol.
Lol, Mike. What restaurants? Appreciate your help.
Almost all of the business’ info comes up when the marker is clicked, but for some reason not for Chatham Street Wine Market. We have a healthy google presence and would love this to be updated so people can easily find us when using your map! Thanks Bonnie. We updated your link.
Little Caesar’s and Train Station Bar and Grill are still listed but are also gone.
Hey Nic – you may need to refresh your browser. Both places were removed when we updated.
You can remove the Harris Teeter at High House Crossing from the Cary Supermarkets Map. Sadly, it closed last September.
On a positive note, I have recognized some staff from this closed store in the Apex on 55 location so if Harris Teeter actively sought to retain staff from the closed site, good on them.
Thanks Ian!
