New Chamber Website
Story by Hal Goodtree.
Cary, NC – The Cary Chamber of Commerce has a spiffy new website. That’s a bullish sign for business in our town.
Priming for Growth
With the national economy grinding away, stuck in low gear, many civic organizations are scrambling just to keep the lights on.
Times are not rosy for everyone in town, make no mistake. But Cary has weathered the storm better than most communities. Big companies have relocated or expanded here (thanks in no small part to the efforts of the Chamber) and small businesses like Scout & Molly’s and Mellow Mushroom have opened up in town.
The new Chamber website is an investment in (and by) the Cary business community. It helps recruit more businesses to town. It provides more value to members.
New Chamber Website
The first thing you notice is the new, modern design.
It’s easier to find information on the new website. This is particularly true about meetings and events. Problem solved.
Members also get a more full and complete listing. If you are a Chamber member, you have to log in and fill out your company profile. The first time you log in, you may have to click the link for “forgotten password.”
The Chamber website also has plenty of opportunities for social media including links for Facebook and Twitter.
While there are a few bugs still to be crushed, the new Cary Chamber of Commerce website represents a major upgrade and a reflection of the generally optimistic mood of business in Cary.
Upcoming Chamber Events
The Chamber has an upcoming Member Appreciation party on October 6. Always a good time. And the Business Expo is November 2. We’ll be there.
If you’re not a Chamber member, maybe now is a good time to consider joining.
Big things are happening in Cary.
