Cary, NC – Cary Innovation Center, only open since March, has graduated its first entrepreneurial client: lawyer Kara Hand.

Graduating CIC

CIC is more than just office space for startups in downtown Cary. It’s intensive business mentoring designed to sort out the nuts and bolts of success.

One measure of graduating from CIC is when a business becomes too big for the innovation center. So it is with Kara Hand. Her law practice is moving out of CIC to a larger office on West Chatham Street.

“When I decided to expand my business, I thought CIC would be a good fit,” said Hand. “I liked the business mentoring aspect. It’s been kind of like having a business partner.”

Kara will continue as a non-resident client of CIC, using our mentoring services to help grow her business to the next level.
