Downtown Harvest Festival and More on Saturday

Academy Street will be rocking all day Saturday in Downtown Cary.

In addition to the morning farmers market (which has turned into a rousing success), the Heart of Cary Association is holding it’s 1st Downtown Harvest Festival from 2-5 PM in Ashworth Village. There will be family friendly fall games, live music by Tom Teachout (classic rock, to Halloween favorites, and kids’ music), food vendors, and more. Trust us: it will be a good time for the kids on a beautiful fall day in Downtown Cary.

From 5-7 PM, there’s the Tricks & Treats Halloween Bash presented by Cary Teen Council. The event will hold court at Cary Elementary (just behind Cary Arts Center) and offer a family friendly carnival sponsored by Cary Teen Council, Un-Scary Stories, The Hey Brothers bluegrass band and trick-or-treating through Ashworth’s Village.
