Cary, NC – The forecast for Saturday is low 60s and 0% chance of rain. Perfect weather for the 54th Annual Cary Band Day & Parade.

Cary Band Day Parade this Saturday

The Parade starts at 10 AM at the corner of Chatham and Academy in Downtown Cary.

On a beautiful day (like this coming Saturday), literally thousands of people line the streets leading to Cary High School on Walnut Street.

This year, 40 units will be marching in the parade including floats, scouts, classic cars, local officials and marching bands.

Bring a chair, bring your kids, bring a thermos of hot cocoa and get there early for a good spot.

Cary Band Day Competition

Following the parade, the Cary Band Day competition begins. From 12 noon until 11 PM, 30 marching bands from across North Carolina and Virginia will compete.

Special Guest Performances by The UNC Marching Tar Heels. Two Award Ceremonies at approximately 6:00 and 11:00 p.m

Cary Band Day is one of the oldest and most well-known competitions in the nation.
