How Would You Like to See Cary’s Money Spent?

cary-budget-comments

Cary, NC – How do you think Town of Cary staff should our money in the coming year? What would you like to see in Cary’s budget? Now is your time to comment, but the window closes on February 28.

How Would You Like to See Cary’s Money Spent?

Cary’s FY2014 budget runs from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. While staff is still weighing the options and trying to make the numbers work for the next fiscal year, you can still weigh-in with your suggestions.

It can be general or specific, things you’d like to see better-funded or things you’d like to see receive less support. Save the old water tower or tear it down? More parks or fewer parks? More investment in downtown? Or less?

What matters to you? That’s what this comment period is about.

How about stop wasting the citizens tax dollars on things like information signs that are too small to read, roundabouts for Y-intersections, going over budget by 100% on building projects, buying up land for parks and then selling them for less for hotels and stop funding “affordable housing” projects for houses that cost more then some other houses already available.
