Cary, NC – Music: the birds do it. The bees do too (in their own way). Like the bees, we’ll be busy in Cary this weekend with a whole lot of music, according to the CaryCitizen Calendar of Events.

Thursday, June 13, 2013

Thursday has 29 events. We highlight just two (one of them is musical).

Cary Town Council Meeting – Starts at 6:30 in Town Hall Council Chambers, 316 N. Academy Street. If you have not been to a Town Council Meeting, it’s a lively and informative time, free and open to all. You can say something at Public Speaks Out (just fill out a card and get in line with the other folks; no prior arrangements necessary). If the spirit moves you, you could speak about the benefit of supporting Open Data and the work of the Town’s Technology Task Force.

The Lumineers at Booth Amphitheatre – Gates open at 5:30. Show starts at 7:00 PM.

Friday, June 14, 2013

Al Batten & the Bluegrass Reunion – Starlight Music Series, Page-Walker, 7-9 PM.

Saturday, June 15, 2013

Music4Hope’s Art & Fun Festival – Fun filled day of live music, art and fun benefitting the Music4Hope Foundation. 10 AM – 4 PM. More info on the Calendar.
