Weekend: Downtown Shop Hop & Beaujolais Wine

Cary, NC — The weather has turned colder so dig out that sweater for a weekend of fall events on the CaryCitizen Calendar.

Thursday: Downtown Shop Hop

Over 25 Merchants in Downtown Cary will be open late to kickoff Holiday Shopping. Downtown Customers “hop” from shop to shop and enter to win giveaways. Refreshments, unique gifts by local artists and specials. 5 – 8 PM. Friend Downtown Shop Hop on Facebook for more info.

Friday: Beaujolais Celebration

Friday, the toast of the evening will certainly be the 7th Annual Beaujolais Celebration. Featuring three different Beaujolais Cru wines to taste and drink. White wine for those who are not red wine drinkers. Expect a great spread of French-inspired appetizers, a silent auction and music in the house and ballroom. 6:30 – 9:30 PM at The Matthews House, presented by Sister Cities of Cary. Get tickets.

Saturday: The Full Complement

Saturday has the usual complement of events local and unique – a Holiday Market at Waverly Place, the Town’s Shred Event, music at UnVined, Dallas Brass at Cary Arts Center, Truck Day at Bright Horizons and an anniversary event at Elizabeth’s.
