Weekend Calendar – February 6-8, 2014
Cary, NC — Lots of unique events on the Calendar this weekend including community events from Heart of Cary and Sister Cities, a play at Cary Arts and the Train Ride to Greensboro.
Thursday, February 6, 2041
Thursday starts off with a Heart of Cary meeting at 7:30 AM. Get to know your neighbors, businesses and Town officials who are working to bring about the Downtown Cary Renaissance.
Also Thursday, Sister Cities is hosting their (rescheduled) Fifth Thursday event. From the Sisters: “This event was originally scheduled for Jan 31, but due to inclement weather was rescheduled to Feb 6 Our tradition of a 5th Thursday social kicks off the new year at a new venue. Please join us at 6:30 pm on Thursday, January 30 at Chatham Hill Winery for food, wine and maybe a tour of the winery. We’ll follow the usual format. No agendas, no minutes, no votes, just getting together and socializing. Chatham Hill Winery does not have a kitchen, but they work with local eateries that will deliver. We’ll have menus from a couple so that you can order whatever you’d like to go with your Chatham Hill wine. If you’ve not been there yet, you are in for a treat. If you have been there but have not had a tour of the winery, you need to come back and join us.”
Also Thursday, An Restaurant is having a special Winery dinner. Plus, the Fine Arts League meets Thursday night, as does Cary Photographic Artists. As well, Cary Players will be auditioning cast for their upcoming production of “The Odd Couple.”
