Wake Community Foundation Accepting Grant Applications
Raleigh, NC — The Wake County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for community projects funded from its community fund, according to Howard Wasserman, Grants Committee Chair.
Who Can Apply
The 2014 grant application period for the Wake County Unrestricted Endowment Fund will be open from Friday, March 21, 2014 to Tuesday, April 29, 2014.Grants typically range from $500 to $1000.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Wake County. Priority will be given to projects that target essential needs such as food, clothing, shelter, medicine and job training, and have annual budgets of $500,000 or less.
How to Apply
Applications are available online only, at www.nccommunityfoundation.org (look under “Affiliates/Wake County”). The deadline for submitting applications is April 29, 2014.
Grants Workshop
The Wake County Community Foundation is offering a free grant seekers workshop to interested nonprofits to assist in submitting applications for funding.
On Thursday, April 17, 2014 a workshop will be held from 10:30 am-12 pm at the NC Community Foundation’s office, 4601 Six Forks Road, Suite 524, Raleigh, NC 27609.
