Waverly Bursting with New Tenants
Cary, NC — Three new tenants are coming to Waverly Place this spring: TOAST Café, Red Hot & Blue and Triangle Wine Co. will all be opening within the next few months.
New Breakfast Place
TOAST Café started in Huntersville, N.C. when longtime friends and co-owners joined together for their 2005 opening.
With specialty omelets, fresh lobster delivered weekly and a bartender pouring mimosas and bloody marys, the breakfast concept has grown to three locations in the Charlotte area, and last year- evolved into a franchise system, bringing a new location to Waverly Place in Cary.
TOAST Café will be opening in April and serving breakfast, lunch and brunch.
Red Hot & Blue Returns
Red Hot & Blue is bringing BBQ back to Waverly Place.
Re-opening on the Promenade next to Barberito’s, the popular restaurant will be serving up slow-smoked ribs, burgers and sandwiches and catering with a southern accent. From the beginning, their mission was clear: ‘’Serve only the best quality barbeque available anywhere in a fun, casual atmosphere surrounded by authentic blues music and memorabilia.’’ Today, the chain celebrates over 25 years of business and has been nationally recognized for their southern hospitality and sauces.
Waverly is happy to welcome the restaurant home as their 2nd location in the Triangle.
Triangle Wine Co Expands
With stores in Morrisville and also Southern Pines, N.C., Triangle Wine Co. will be opening their third set of doors at Waverly, next to Whole Foods.
Locally owned and operated, Triangle Wine Co. has one of the best beer and wine selections of any local shop. Buy wine by the glass and sip while you shop, or check out their huge beer singles wall and create your own custom six-pack. They also host weekly tasting events and classes. In addition to stocking a variety of North Carolina wine and beer, Triangle Wine Co. is proud to carry other products from locally owned and operated small businesses.

This is great news. RH and B next to Triangle Wine. I could live there. But really I wanted to shout out for the SPONSOR of these articles. If you haven’t walked into Whisk and love to cook – you are sorely missing out. Check out Vom Fass while you are at it (next door). Very cool.
Thanks to the Cary Citizen for the great article about all the new tenants coming to Waverly Place. As one of those new tenants, please know we are thrilled to be bringing the Toast Cafe experience to Cary. Just a minor clarification to the story as it relates to our opening date — it will actually take place later this summer and not in April.
We look forward to serving you soon and being a part of the Cary community. Dean Kessel (Owner, Toast Cafe of Cary)
Thanks Dean – see ya for breakfast!
