Morrisville, NC- The multi-cultural gods were smiling on Morrisville when they delivered a picture-perfect day for the Town’s second annual East Meets West Festival in Saturday May 17, 2014.

What a difference a year makes. Last year’s inaugural festival dawned on a dreary rainy day, the second installment was mid-70’s, low humidity and sunny, if somewhat breezy (causing more than one tent to set sail).

The festival featured two stages at either end of Morrisville’s Town Hall Drive. An Eastern stage with dance and musical acts from he many Indian and Asian children’s cultural groups. The Western stage featured Triangle favorite A Fifth of Blues.
