Burger 21 is now open in Bradford Place–this is the first location to open in the Triangle (one other NC location is in Charlotte). Beef, chicken, turkey and shrimp burgers fill the menu along with not-so-classic milkshakes like espresso, key lime pie and bananas foster.
Brixx Pizza, 14112 Bradford Green Square, Cary
Brixx Pizza is on a roll–this is their second Cary location to open recently.
IT’SUGAR, 1164 Parkside Main Street, Cary
IT’SUGAR just opened in Parkside Town Commons, Cary’s brand-new shopping center that is developing quickly. The store features fun gifts, old-fashioned treats, unique candy and more.
Brilliant Nail Spa, 14106 Bradford Square Green, Cary
To celebrate their recent grand opening, Brilliant Nail Spa is offering 20% off services for the month of June. A reviewer on Yelp said, “I went for a pedicure for the 20% off new opening deal and was very impressed. The space is very large and beautiful. The prices are on par with other surrounding nail salons.” Call 919-377-1585 to schedule an appointment.
Maui Whitening, 107 Kilmayne Drive, Cary
Maui Whitening opened on May 18, 2015. The store offers affordable laser teeth whitening. Owner Tracy Wheeler said, “We offer professional teeth whitening sessions at a fraction of the cost of what you would pay to have your teeth whitened at other locations.”

Prue Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, 1020 Southhill Drive #140, Cary
This six month-old business is a one-stop go-to for physical therapy, sports performance and personal training, injury prevention and massage therapy. Restaurant Depot, 3901 Gateway Centre Boulevard, Cary
We toured the Restaurant Depot last week and were surprised by its size! You’ll see the large warehouse peeking up over trees on Aviation Parkway, and, inside, you’ll find bulk foods and cooking equipment designed for restaurants. With locations in 31 states, the Depot focuses on the needs of independent foodservice operators and offers free membership.
Neighborhood Bottle Shop, 1341 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary
Craft beer is an ever-growing trend…and Cary has latched on! Neighborhood, another new bottle shop, opened in the Shoppes of Kildaire three weeks ago. Stop by to enjoy a beer in the store or purchase one to take home.
Wake Academy, 107 Quade Drive, Cary
Wake Academy, located near Evans Road and Cary Parkway, is a private school that provides “gifted education for high-potential students through complex, higher-level learning activities and educational experiences.” Look for a story about Wake Academy soon.
July 11 Grand Openings – Mark Your Calendar
Parkside Town Commons will hold a Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 10 am-2 pm to celebrate summer and the upcoming opening of Frank Theatre Cinebowl and Grille.
This event is free to the public and will include face painting, crafts, games and prizes and characters to meet. Cary will have a fire truck, police car and the K-9 unit on hand to help celebrate, and IT’SUGAR and other surrounding stores will be provide free samples and an opportunity to register to win prizes.
Also on July 11, 2015, the new Neighborhood Bottle Shop will host a grand opening party. Details will be announced later on Facebook.

I noticed the Restaurant Depot for the first time yesterday when I took the family to Lake Crabtree. Surely, its location there just off Aviation Parkway must officially be in Morrisville.
