Cary, NC — August in Cary is still pretty hot to be doing much in your garden – so why not consider adding some punch with garden art? There are so many ways of doing this, and there are no rules. It’s all about what you like and what makes you smile.

Yard Art – Ideas

Don’t let the idea of yard art be intimidating. To start, think about functional ways you can add some interest, such as decorative pots, birdbaths or maybe an interesting piece of furniture that can hold a pretty group of flowers.

Recently, I visited the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge in Lake Lure, NC. They did an amazing job in adding art to the garden. A group of gardeners saved an old bridge from demolition and turned it into a wonderful public garden with some of the best ideas I have ever seen.

From whimsical art to functional art, this garden really had it all.

Just look at what they did in the pictures below and I guarantee you will be inspired.
