Cary, NC — Each month, look for our Business Bits column, where we’ll highlight “been here a little while,” brand new and opening soon businesses in Cary and Morrisville.

Now Open in Cary

This week, we found three new restaurants, a fun dance studio, a bohemian boutique and more. We also have news of a grand opening celebration in a downtown restaurant.

Restaurants

Chipotle Mexican Grill, 204 Crossroads Blvd, Cary
There’s already a Chipotle by the Cary Post Office on Wrenn Drive, and there’s one in Park West Village as well. Now, another location opened in Crossroads Plaza on September 17, 2015. Chipotle offers great rice bowls, burritos, tacos, salads, chips and salsa and more.

Golden Pig Korean Cuisine, 815 W. Chatham Street, Cary
You’ve probably seen this gold house on your way into Downtown Cary – it’s the Golden Pig, a new Korean restaurant that offers pork dishes, entrees with protein, vegetables and rice and Asian favorites like crab Rangoon and cashew chicken. It’s closed on Mondays.

Nine’s China, 4224 NW Cary Pkwy, Cary
This new Chinese restaurant just opened in Preston Corners (near La Farm). As a part of their grand opening special, you can get a free drink with the purchase of an entree.

Boutique

Pink Magnolia Boutique, 1205 Parkside Main Street, Cary
Pink Magnolia in Parkside Town Commons claims that it is “Affordable Chic.” Visit the store’s website to see models wearing striking fall fashions with a bohemian twist. In addition to new clothing that arrives weekly, Pink Magnolia carries jewelry and accessories with a southern flair.

Dance

Millpond Dance Studio, 3490 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary
Millpond Dance offers fun dance and fitness classes for both adults and kids as young as 18 months. Whether you’re looking for a calorie-burning, high-energy Zumba class, a Mommy & Me class, ballroom dancing lessons, hip-hop instruction, Pilates or ballet, owner Kim has you covered. She even offers specialty classes for track-out and home-school schedules.

Beauty

The Green Room, 1319 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary
The Green Room is a new salon in the Trader Joe’s shopping center. The name comes from the relaxing “green room” where performers rest when they’re not on-stage. Services at The Green Room are vast – you can get a blowout, brow wax or eyelash extensions all in one place.

Grand Opening – Next Week

Kababish Cafe, our favorite new Indian restaurant in Downtown Cary, has been open for several weeks now, but they’ll celebrate their success with a grand opening on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11:30 am. You’ll be able to sample kababs, onion fritters, mango lassi and more to get the taste of what Kababish is all about before you enjoy lunch.

Owner Samreen Nawaz told me, “Now that people have an idea of who we are, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be a formal way of being part of the Town of Cary Downtown community.”
