Business Bits: What’s New in Cary?

Downtown Cary now has its own rickshaw service! In addition to that, a new Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a new Chick-fil-A and a new sushi place all just opened in Cary, too.

Rickshaw Service

Rickshaws, or pedi-cabs, are some of the most exciting ways to get around, and Ricky’s offers primary service area inside Cary’s downtown area.

You can ride the rickshaw to/from your favorite restaurant, brewery or wine bar or take a ride on the greenways in your local neighborhood. You can also book a ride to school for your children’s birthday or take a historic tour or a holiday light tour of the downtown or your neighborhood.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe, 2028 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary
Cary’s second Tropical Smoothie Cafe just opened last week in the Crescent Commons shopping center across from Waverly Place. The restaurant offers a great variety of smoothies made with fruits and vegetables, and a full menu of warm and cold sandwiches.

Chick-fil-A, 7107 O’Kelly Chapel Road, Cary
A new Chick-fil-A opened in Parkside Commons today, November 19, 2015. The new location offers all the classic Chick-fil-A menu items, dual drive-thru ordering lanes, a vintage-inspired interior design and 126 seats for people who choose to dine-in.

Oiso Sushi & Korean, 1305 NW Maynard Road, Cary

Oiso opened early-November in Cary’s Maynard Crossing shopping center. We’ve heard that this is a great place for sushi lovers, as the menu features a wide variety of specialty rolls, many that you won’t find elsewhere. The restaurant also serves Japanese and Korean dishes.
