Bond Park Boathouse Opens April 2

Cary, NC — On April 2, 2016, the Bond Park Boathouse will open for the season from 10 am-6 pm. 

A Great Season

Spring is here – a great season for nature-lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Cary’s many parks, trails and greenways are especially beautiful this time of year, and starting on April 2, the Bond Park Boathouse will be officially open, too.

Boathouse Opens April 2

Starting next weekend, we’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful – and large – lake at Bond Park. Visitors can rent kayaks, canoes, rowboats and sailboats for one-hour increments and pedal boats for half-hour increments. You can also register in advance for instructional classes for canoes, kayaks, sailboats, fishing clinics and summer camps.

You’ll also be able to purchase concessions at the boathouse, including snacks, beverages, ice cream and bait and tackle.

Bond Park is located at 801 High House Road in Cary.

Beginning April 2, 2016, the regular boathouse hours are:

  • Saturdays & Sundays only in April-May and September-October – 10 am-6 pm
  • Mondays–Sundays from June 1-August 29 – 9 am-6 pm
