Business Bits: Downtown Cary and Park West Village
Cary, NC – There are lots of new openings and announcements across Cary, particularly in the fast-growing downtown area now that the Academy Street renovations are mostly completed.
Downtown Cary
In Downtown Cary, FRESH Local Ice Cream will be opening on Chatham Street. FRESH has one other location on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. Also, Pro’s Epicurean Market and Café announced it will be opening downtown in the Mid-town Shopping Center.
The Peanut Roaster is now open in Ashworth Village. It will only be open through the holiday season.
Clothing store Peruvian Market will be coming to downtown Cary, moving into the previous H&R Block space.
Annelore’s German Bakery held its groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, November 14, 2016 and will begin construction to build its Cary location on Chatham Street near the traffic circle.
And Academy Street Bistro has opened back up, now with a new owner Tom Havrish, owner and executive chef at Lugano Ristorante.
Park West Village
In Park West Village in Morrisville, clothing and accessory store Scott and Molly’s Boutique will be opening soon.
Also open in Park West Village is Starbucks.
Restaurant b.good had its ribbon-cutting in Park West Village on Tuesday, November 22, 2016.
Parkside Town Commons
Toy store Learning Express is now open in Parkside Town Commons.
Alston Town Center
Two more tenants have been announced for Alston Town Center, which is set to open in January. Restaurant Built Burgers and physical therapy studio The Body Mechanic will be part of the shopping center, located on NC-55 and Petty Farm Road.
Preston Walk
Asian bistro Eighty 8 is set to open in Preston Walk, taking the previous location of Ginza.
