The Cary Theater is playing classic feel-good movies this weekend, with “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” at 2 PM, “Sixteen Candles” at 7 PM and “Uncle Buck” at 9 PM.

Chatham Street Wine Market is holding its weekly wine tasting this Thursday in Downtown Cary, starting at 5 PM.

St. Francis United Methodist Church has its monthly discussion of the book “The New Jim Crow.” It is open to everyone and it starts at 7 PM.

This Friday is Final Friday Art Loop with artist receptions all across Cary. You can see locally created artwork and meet with the artists who made them and enjoy refreshments. All receptions start at 6 PM.

The Cary Theater plays the locally-produced documentary “Beyond the Mat – The Story of the Nighthawks” with a performance by the Nighthawks following the film. It all starts at 7 PM.

Applause! Cary Youth Theatre is celebrating its 20th season with a performance of Charlotte’s Web. It runs from Friday to Sunday at the Cary Arts Center, starting at 7:30 PM on Friday.

Take a free guided walk down Swift Creek Greenway Walk this Saturday morning, starting at 9 AM at Ritter Park Picnic Shelter.

The Laasya School of Dance and Music hold a dance performance at the Cary Theater this Saturday. These are the adult students of the school, performing in the bharatanatyam tradition. It starts at 2 PM.

Comedian Felipe Esparza is performing at the Raleigh Improv in Parkside Town Commons all this weekend. On Saturday, he is performing at 7 and 9:30 PM.

North Carolina State University hosts a performance of the classic musical “Cabaret” all this weekend, taking place at Stewart Theatre on campus. All shows start at 7:30 PM.

PNC Arena hosts Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo this Saturday, with rodeo riding, trick riding and a monkey riding a dog. The show starts at 7:30 PM.

The Durham Performance Arts Center is playing the musical “Rock of Ages” this weekend, celebrating its 10th year running. The shows start at 8 PM.
