The first weekend of May is packed in Cary, with CaryCitizen’s annual Fest in the West event, as well as a fundraising auction for the Carying Place, the return of PlaySlam, live music all across town and more.
This Saturday, May 5, 2018 is Fest in the West, CaryCitizen’s event in West Cary at the USA Baseball Complex. But there are more fun things to do this weekend too, from the Morrisville Rotary’s wine, bourbon and beer tasting to the last weekend of the Cary Players’ “Plaza Suite” performance and more.
It will be a busy weekend in Cary, with Art Loop, the Farmers’ Market, lots of live music and more. And best of all, no more rain.
After bringing together young artists from around Cary, the Page-Walker Arts and History Center gave out several awards and cash prizes to the works that reflected the influence of the center’s history and design.
Cary, NC – How about some plants that you add to almost anywhere in your yard that require little to no care, look good, smell good and you can eat them? That is an herb.
Cary, NC — On Saturday, May 2, 2015, over 20 artists brought their easels, canvases and palettes to paint outside along the streets of Downtown Cary. I talked to a handful of them and even ended up in one of the paintings!
The calendar is stuffed this weekend with Mother’s Day events, outdoor music, arts and crafts fairs, Frankie Yankovic Day, farmers markets and Cary’s annual Train Day.
May is shaping-up to be a busy month in Downtown Cary. Grab the family and come Downtown for Herbfest, National Train Day, the Wheels on Academy vintage car festival and lots more.
