Support local high schools by attending two musicals this weekend. Cary High School will be performing Once Upon a Mattress from 7-9:30 pm on Friday night and, at 7:30 pm, Green Hope will present Legally Blonde. Shows repeat on various days throughout the weekend; check the calendar for more details.

Since St. Patrick’s Day is on a Tuesday this year, many Cary pubs and bars are starting the celebrations early–that is, this weekend. Doherty’s on High House, for example, starts a full weekend of events with live music at 10 pm. Find a complete list of celebrations on CaryCitizen’s 2015 Guide to St. Paddy’s Day in Cary.
