Morrisville, NC — On Thursday, July 30, 2015, we attended the grand opening of Spices Hut, a new Indian grocery store in Park Place at the corner of Cary Parkway and Chapel Hill Road.
Morrisville Welcomes a New Supermarket
Many Morrisville “celebrities” filled the former Golden Corral space (beside Los Tres Magueyes) in the Park Place shopping center yesterday to celebrate a special grand opening.
Morrisville Chamber of Commerce ambassadors and board members, Morrisville Town Council members and a supportive community filled the new Spices Hut grocery store to meet the owners, join them in a ribbon cutting and enjoy an Indian lunch.
Spices Hut Indian Grocery
At Spices Hut, you’ll find a variety of cooking items like dals (dried beans, lentils or peas), spices, rice, flours, frozen Indian meals, snacks and sweets. There’s also a library of the latest and classic Hindi and regional movies, CDs and a wonderful selection of produce.
We wandered around the store to take some photos.
There’s a Restaurant, Too
We can’t forget to tell you about Bawarchi, the beautiful Indian restaurant attached to the Spices Hut building, which features an elegant interior design and authentic Indian cuisine.
We were even treated to a delicious lunch as part of the grand opening celebration.
